SMART Sleeps 

SMART Sleeps offers in-home boarding for dogs who thrive on routine, comfort, and connection. While you’re away, your dog becomes part of our family—staying in a home environment with structure, play, rest, and personalized care.

 

This isn’t a kennel. It’s thoughtful, overnight care designed for dogs who do well in calm spaces and enjoy the company of other dogs. Because all guests share space with my own dogs, we welcome pups who are comfortable around others and able to relax in a home setting.

Every SMART Sleeps guest is welcomed with care—and never rushed. When a new dog arrives, we first give them time to explore the space without my dogs present, helping them settle and get their bearings. From there, introductions happen slowly and intentionally: one dog at a time, with a barrier in place to ensure safety and comfort. Once everyone is relaxed and able to disengage, we move to neutral outdoor space together—and only then transition to shared time inside.

 

This process might take five minutes or a full day. We follow the pace of the visiting dog, always prioritizing safety and comfort.
